A simple and delicious meal set for my family. Home to me is a familiar place of comfort where you can rest from the world in the people you love. It's talking and laughing and filling our bodies and spirits with nourishment. It's having someone to take care of and someone to take care of you. It's sharing a moment, a look, an inside joke, a fear, an up, a down.This is a scene that makes my heart swell with joy. It's the moment right before I call them to the table and they pour in, a loud, jumbled mess of beautiful.
